Detailed description of functionalities

Launch Single Exe

Steps:

  1. Click on Menu Config button
  2. Right click where you want to add the action
  3. Click Add Action
  4. Select Single Exe
  5. Compile fields following your needs
  6. Accept the form and the main form
  7. Right click on the Tray Software Manager icon end click on the created action

Launch Multiple Exe

Steps:

  1. Click on Menu Config button
  2. Right click where you want to add the action
  3. Click Add Action
  4. Select Multiple Exe
  5. Compile fields following your needs. To add multiple exe you need to click on Customize button
  6. Accept the form and the main form
  7. Right click on the Tray Software Manager icon end click on the created action

Open Folder

Steps:

  1. Click on Menu Config button
  2. Right click where you want to add the action
  3. Click Add Action
  4. Select Folder
  5. Compile fields following your needs.
  6. Accept the form and the main form
  7. Right click on the Tray Software Manager icon end click on the created action

Open Browser

Steps:

  1. Click on Menu Config button
  2. Right click where you want to add the action
  3. Click Add Action
  4. Select Browser
  5. Compile fields following your needs. Note that by default to open sites is used default browser but you can force it selecting the exe file. Browser sites has to be added in the bottom section of the window. One for each line.
  6. Accept the form and the main form
  7. Right click on the Tray Software Manager icon end click on the created action

Launch CMD command

Steps:

  1. Click on Menu Config button
  2. Right click where you want to add the action
  3. Click Add Action
  4. Select CMD
  5. Compile fields following your needs.
  6. Accept the form and the main form
  7. Right click on the Tray Software Manager icon end click on the created action

Create Screenshot

Steps:

  1. Right click on the Tray Software Manager icon end click on:
  • All Screen to capture and save immediately the screenshot
  • OS Screenshot to open OS default screenshot
  • Custom Screenshot to open advanced screenshot feature
  1. Custom Screenshot allows you to crop the screen imore times to get more subsections of it.
  2. Previous Screenshot and Next Screenshot button allows you to navigate between them
  3. Image Name allows you to define a name for each screenshot
  4. With Take All Screen you can take che full screen again
  5. You can also catch a delayed screenshot defining the number of seconds to wait before the catch. Than click the Delayed Screenshot button to catch.
  6. Clicking Save Image button current image is saved with the defined name
  7. Save All Images will save all current screenshots and cropped images with the defined name
  8. Note that all images are saved in the folder defined in the Tray Software Manager settings.

Create Separate Tray Launcher

Steps:

  1. Click on Tray Icons section
  2. Click on Create button
  3. Compile fields following your needs.
  4. Accept the form and the main form
  5. Reboot Tray Software Manager and the new tray icon will be visible

Create Startup Application

Steps:

  1. Click on Startup section
  2. Click on Create button
  3. Compile fields following your needs.
  4. Accept the form and the main form
  5. Reboot the OS and the created software will be opened

Database Management

Steps:

  1. Click on Settings section and Database subsection
  2. Click on Export button, select the folder and click Ok. A zip file containing all needs of Tray Software Manager will be created. Tray Software Manager reboot is required
  3. Use Restore to select the zip backup and replace all settings with backup ones
  4. Using Import option you can select backup button and use the merge tool to import your needs

Settings

Steps:

  1. Click on Settings section and Settings subsection
  2. Here you can find a list of possible values:
  • Use Default Menus: Everytime this software start a procedure checks if screenshot and Remove Programs menus are present, if not they are automatically created
  • Maximum Sites to open: This counter field allows you to define the number of maximum sites that you want to open at the same time with the browser
  • Search for executables everytime program starts: If set to True everytime the software starts a procedure starts the search of executables
  • Active Language: Allows user to define the active language to use
  • Saving Screenshot Path: When screenshots are created will be saved in this directory
  • Installed Languages: User can define installed languages that can be used
  • Where to search for executables: User can define the paths where the procedure will search for executables
  • Tree Headers Order: Menu tree structure has some headers, here you can hide/show some of them or change it's sequence order

Note that you have to click the Apply button to save the settings
